Futuremark 3DMark Vantage 1.1.0 Released – Basic Version Now Free

By

The official launch date of the 3DMark Vantage patch v1.1.0 is tomorrow, but some of the mirrors received the file today to give them some lead time, so it’s available from select mirrors right now! We contacted Futuremark this morning and were told that their pages will update with the new information then and that there will also be a press release with some more info tomorrow. One of the best parts about the update is that the basic edition is now free. The results produced by the new build of 3DMark Vantage are compatible and comparable with the results produced with earlier builds, so don’t worry about having to re-test all your video cards. We downloaded the full version of the benchmark at NGOHQ and found it to be 349MB in size.
