Func HS-260 Gaming Headset Review
Looking around the Func HS-260
The Func HS-260 has full-sized circumaural earcups attached to a flexible headband. The entire assembly is lightweight as a result of a mostly plastic construction. The black plastic on the earcups is treated with a rubberized surface coating. The headband is smooth plastic colored matte metal gray. Shiny silver accents add character to the earcups and detachable microphone.
There are virtually no joints on the HS-260 and instead a flexible headband allows this headset to fit on the head. A choice of either velour clothed earpads or leather covered earpads are included and available for choosing.
The headband length is fully adjustable on both sides of the central headband cushion. The sliding track is perhaps the weakest structural point in the HS-260 design though we have yet to encounter any problems with breakage during the time we’ve spent with this headset.
The detachable cable and microphone are plugged into the headset at the bottom of either earcup. It doesn’t matter which earcup the cable or microphone is plugged into for operation. On the left earcup, there is a playback volume adjust wheel.
The 3m (9.8ft) long braided cable terminates at two 3.5 analog ends each for headphone and microphone. The flexible microphone is plugged into the unused 3.5 jack on the headset.
The microphone also has a mute button.
Of course, we’ve got even more beauty shots of the Func HS-260.
