Foxconn Group approaches combined profits of NT$50 billion in 2005

Foxconn has made several smart moves over the past couple years and their combined profits are starting to reflect that. With a net profit of NT$50 billion ($1.6 billion USD) they are one of the largest motherboard makers in the world.
Three listed companies under the Foxconn Group ? Foxconn Electronics (the registered trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry), Foxconn Precision Components (FPC) and Foxlink (Cheng Uei Precision Industry) ? recorded totaled net profits of NT$49.1 billion (US$1.6 billion) in 2005, compared to a combined total of NT$33.1 billion in 2004. Foxconn, FPC and Foxlink also each had a record EPS (earnings per share) in 2005 topping NT$5.
