First-tier motherboard makers see mixed results in June 2010

First-tier motherboard makers Asustek Computer, Gigabyte Technology, Micro-Star International (MSI), Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) and ASRock have announced mixed results in their June revenues. MSI said sales were up, but ASUS, ASRock, ECS, Pegatron and Gigabyte all say June revenues decreased.

Asustek saw revenues of NT$20.63 billion (US$643.17 million) for June, down slightly by 5.53% on month, but up 13.87% on year. Gigabyte saw NT$2.88 billion in June revenues, down 5.48% on month and 10.53% on year. ASRock has announced revenues of NT$644 million, dropping slightly by 0.94% on month and 16.03% on year, mainly due to falling demand in Europe.
