F.E.A.R. 3 Story Arc Trailer – Release Date May 24th

The game title F.E.A.R. 3 is still scheduled to come out next month and it looks like the game developers have released a new video trailer over Easter that explains the story of Arc for those that are interested. F.E.A.R. 3 is set to release on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, and Windows PC on May 24th, 2011.

F.E.A.R. 3, was officially announced on April 8, 2010, along with its trailer. The game will be developed by Day 1 Studios, in collaboration with Monolith. According to the announcement, the gameplay will feature a “Generative Scare System” to change the placement and timing of enemies “on each playthrough”. The story will follow Alma and her baby’s birth. The “Point Man” will make a return from the first game (this time without his balaclava as seen on the trailer), as well as Paxton Fettel, even giving hints of a co-op mode involving the two, each with their unique powers. The game will also feature a script co-written by Steve Niles and in-game cinematics directed by filmmaker John Carpenter.
