EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti Cooler Spotted
EVGA’s NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti cooler has been spotted, it’s the first GTX 660 Ti to be spotted at this point and from appearances looks fairly similar to the EVGA Signature Series GTX 670 and GTX 680 graphics cards. The cooler of course is simple in design, it is a lateral-flow aka blower style cooler, with a dense aluminum fin stack with copper base. Overall the heatsink itself appears fairly small with the fan accounting for 1/3 of the card’s overall length, but considering the TDP of the GPU is only 150w the size of the cooler should not pose a problem. Expreview has also restated the specs of the GPU, the very same specs we reported earlier with the GTX 660 Ti having 1344 CUDA cores, 112 TMUs, 24 ROPs, 192-bit bus with 2GB of GDDR5. Overall the design looks to be fairly straight forward and should provide adequate cooling without undue cost.
GTX 660 Ti uses the the GK104 core, the same as with the GTX 670 has 1344 stream processors, memory interface cut to 192bit these specifications, in fact, before we have repeatedly reported that the specific frequency determined by GTX 670 the same core frequency of 915MHz, the Boost frequency of 980MHz, memory frequency of 6008MHz with 2GB GDDR5 memory, the TDP is 150W, 20W lower than GTX 670.
