EVGA Introduces the NVIDIA GeForce GT 545 Video Card
The NVIDIA GeForce GT 545 was supposed to be an OEM-only graphics card, but it appears that NVIDIA has had a change of heart and has brought it to the retail market as we just got a press release from EVGA announcing the card. This comes a a shock to us as we didn’t know this was going to be happening. The GeForce GT 545 is a single-slot DirectX 11 graphics card that has 144 CUDA Cores with GPU/shader clocks of 720/1440 MHz. The 1536MB of DDR3 memory operated on a 192-bit memory bus with a clock speed of 1800 MHz (effective). You can run , 2-way SLI on the GT 545 for extra performance. The card features D-Sub, DVI and HDMI outputs. We have been told by EVGA that this card will carry an MSRP of $150, which means it will be competing with the AMD Radeon HD 6850 1GB.
