3DMark Vantage
Next up is the industry standard 3DMark Vantage from Futuremark. 3D Mark Vantage consists of two graphics tests and two CPU tests as the primary benchmark. Then 3D Mark Vantage runs several feature tests that are more specific to certain tasks. 3DMark Vantage utilizes a DirectX 10 rendering engine and takes full advantage of those features.
For our tests we set 3D Mark Vantage on the default for the Extreme setting.
The EVGA GeForce GTX 570 HD Classified put up a great score and when we checked out recent GTX 570 results on the Futuremark web site we found most on extreme were in the 14000 – 18000 range on an i5 2500k.
It is interesting to note that the EVGA GeForce GTX 570 HD Classified actually turns in a higher GPU score than total score meaning the i5 2500K is the limiting factor in this test.
