EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Video Card
Race Driver GRID
Race Driver: GRID (known as GRID in North America) is the latest addition to the TOCA Touring Car series by Codemasters, published and developed by the same company. It was announced on April 19, 2007, and is available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and PC. The game was released on June 3, 2008 in North America.
Race Driver: GRID uses Codemasters’ own Ego engine, an evolved version of the Neon engine already used in their previous release, Colin McRae DIRT. The damage code has been completely rewritten to allow for persistent damage environments.
Results: Race Driver: GRID didn’t seem to be tough on graphics cards until we ran it at 16XQCSAA on all the cards listed above. The GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 performed 11% faster then the original GeForce GTX 260 at 1920×1200 and with even with these insane settings the card played the game just fine.
