Eric Demers Corporate VP & CTO, Graphics Divison, Is Leaving AMD

According to AnandTech, AMD’s Corporate VP & CTO, Graphics Division, Eric Demers will be leaving the company at the end of this week. While he may not be joining Intel or Nvidia, it is expected he will remain in the industry. AMD in an official statement has thanked Eric for his contributions to the business and wish him well in his future endeavors. With Eric leaving the company, Chief Technology Officer Mark Papermaster will assume interim responsibility for the Graphics Business Unit CTO role until AMD can find a replacement.
