ENERMAX Enters the Liquid CPU Cooler Market with Revolutionary QSC Technology

By

ENERMAX have announced the ELC120-TB, ELC120-TA and ELC240 coolers, the company’s entry into the liquid cooling market. These coolers feature QSC cold plate technology, which removes the boundary layer bottleneck where viscosity normally reduces cooling performance:

“The patented QSC (Quad Shunt Channel cold plate) technology developed by ENERMAX is an innovative design for best thermal conductivity. With the unique design of QSC, the cold plate can powerfully eliminate the boundary layer inside micro channels to increase coolant flow momentum and accelerate heat transfer performance.

Furthermore, QSC also creates the redistribution of coolant flow among individual micro channels to effectively remove heat surge of hot spot on the CPU in an extremely timely and efficient manner. This is impossible for other coolers with conventional micro-fin structure design since no flow redistribution can be formed to enact the same function.”

The coolers come pre-assembled and filled with coolant making them easy to fit, eliminating the chance of spillage and come with ENERMAX’s patented durable Twister fan bearings.

The new liquid coolers from Enermax are available for sales from next week on. MSRP incl. VAT: 89,90 / 69.90 for the ELC120-TB/TA models and 119,90 / 89.90 for the ELC240. In November, Enermax will introduce the ELC125, another high-end model with thicker 48mm radiator. Full details and specifications are available at the link below.

As usual, Enermax relies on the durable patented Twister fan bearing. While the ELC120-TB and ELC240 are equipped with Europe’s best selling T.B.Silence fans, the ELC120-TA comes with two eye-catching T.B.Apollish LED fans. The new Tri-Cooling function of the Enermax fans allows for an individual speed range adjustment according to the system requirements. End users can choose one of three RPM modes: In Silent Mode, the fan runs with maximum 1,500 RPM and achieves up to 2,200 RPM in Overclock Mode.
