Energizer Power Max P10K Pop is one Swolt Smartphone
One glance at the image from CNET below, and you might think that fat smartphone is a joke of some sort. It’s not. Energizer rolled out an entire family of smartphones at MWC 2019, and this is the strangest of the lot.
The phone is the Power Max P18K Pop and is built by Avenir Telecom for Energizer. The fat stature of the smartphone is due to the massive battery inside packing 18,000 mAh of power. Last year Energizer had a similar device that had a 16,000 mAh battery inside good for up to five days of normal use and up to 40 days on standby.
Despite the massive battery in the new smartphone, it promises a full charge in eight hours and supports fast charging. The Pop in the name comes from the pop-up selfie camera that kills the notch. It has a 6.2-inch screen on the front.
The SoC is a Mediatek Helio P70 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device has a microSD slot for storage expansion. Three cameras are out back, and the smartphone runs Android Pie and has a pair of SIM slots.
