Editors to iPhone Buyers: Quit Yer Whining!

By

On the heels of Apple Computer’s announcement this week that they will cut the iPhone’s price from $599 to $399, there was a huge feeling of betrayal by early adopters. Apple quickly tried to heal the feelings of these users by offering up a $100 in store credit. PC Magazine editors Lance Ulanoff and Dan Costa and lead analyst Sascha Segan take no pity on those that stood in line for hours to pick up one of these glorious iPhones.

I can’t handle this whiny piling-on in all the press today of people who feel “betrayed” by Apple’s iPhone price drop. Face it. They bought it because they felt it was worth $600. If they didn’t feel it was worth $600, they shouldn’t have bought it.
