The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world and features action-oriented gameplay with a combination of survival horror elements. It uses the 4A Game engine and was released in May 2013.

Benchmark Results: The ECS Z87H3-A2X Extreme is right on track with our other Intel Z87 motherboards in Metro Last Light. There’s less than 1 frame per second separating the Z87 boards and the ECS was right in the middle at 1280×1024 with an average of 62.91 frames per second. At 1920×1080 the ECS Z87H3-A2X Extreme was only .19 frames per second below the ASUS Z87-Pro.
