ECS Introduces AMD A55 Chipset Series Motherboards

By

Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) has introfuced a series of AMD APU supported Socket FM1 motherboards called the A55 series. ECS is launching the A55 series with three motherboards, the ECSA55F-A, A55F-M2 and A55F-M3. All of these boards support support AMD A-series APUs for users to indulge in DirectX 11 and UVD 3 graphics performance. This chipset costs less than the AMD A75 chipset and has less features. For example the AMD A55 FCH doesn’t feature integrated USB 3.0 ports, FIS Based Switching, or SATA III 6 GB/s connections. If you don’t care about USB 3.0 and SATA III then be sure to give these boards a look! The ECS A55F-A is shown below, which is the companies flagship AMD A55 board. You can see high resolution images of all three boards in our forums by following the link at the bottom of this news post.

ECS A55 series fully supports AMD APU to present smooth and powerful gaming computing capability. With amazing overclocking power, ECS A55 series could support memory at least at 1866 MHz frequency. Furthermore, ECS A55 series also supports the Dual Graphics function to supply overwhelming graphics energy with one discrete graphics card. ECS strongly insists on the quality of our products. ECS A55 series motherboards adopt solid capacitors around the CPU area to supply stable and safe power to the motherboards. In addition to high-quality solid capacitors, ECS A55 series motherboards are implanted with ESD protection components and pass the anti-static test, as well. Therefore, ECS motherboards are safer and have a longer life-span than others.
