Dota 2 Gains Battle Royale Mode Called The Underhollow

Fans of the game Dota 2 will have a new mode to enjoy that adds in battle royale mode. It’s not really a surprise that Battle Royale is coming to the game considering some of the most popular games out there right now are PUBG and Fortnite. Everyone wants in on the battle royale action.

Dota 2 gets the battle royale love as part of the International 2018 Battle Pass and the official name for the mode is The Underhollow. As for when the mode launches all we know is “soon.” The official Dota 2 description for the mode reads:

Battle through a labyrinth filled with monsters, marvels, and many other three-player enemy squads as you search for Roshans rarest cheese and work to be the last team standing. Youll need to navigate carefully to earn the XP and Gold needed to destroy your opponents.

But dont take too longRoshans cheese frenzy is causing cave-ins as he moves towards the center of the Underhollow. Soon enough there will be nowhere left to run.

The Underhollow is expected to be a limited time mode like the co-op story adventure mode that was offered last year for only as long as the 2017 pass was active reports Kotaku. That likely means this battle royale mode will leave when the 2018 pass does.
