Blizzard has also revealed that Diablo III will have a centralized auction house system so players can easily sell and buy loot earned in the game. This loot can be bought with gold or real-world currency. Why would Blizzard do that? Well, there is a fixed charge to list your items on the auction house and Blizzard gets a cut of the money.
