Details Emerge On Xigmatek Helios 232 Micro ATX Case

By

Xigmatek has what looks to be a new micro ATX case on the way, dubbed the Helios 232 and of course it comes in the company’s colors of choice, orange and black. There are two variants of the Helios 232, the Helios 232 Black which has a black interior with orange tool-free 5.25 inch bays and the Helios 232 which has an unpainted interior with black tool-free 5.25 inch bays. Furthermore support for long graphics cards with lengths up to 330mm and tower coolers up to 160mm gives the case the ability to support a great deal of today’s enthusiast hardware. Cooling is handled by a single 120mm Xigmatek orange fan, which is secured at the back of the case with room for a front 120mm fan and 120/140mm side fan as well. The case may be entry level, but it has some great features usually reserved for more expensive products such as 2 USB 3.0 ports up front, CPU socket cut out for easier mounting. The only odd occurance is that Xigmatek has chosen to mount the PSU up top instead of the now far more common bottom mounting position. Pricing and availability for the unit are currently unknown, but further info is expected soon.
