Destiny 2 New Armor and Weapons Detailed

Yesterday we talked about the new Raid Content that was landing for Destiny 2 and today more detail about some other new items or the game set to land in the Curse of Osiris DLC has turned up. Namely, there are details on new armor and weapons that players will be able to use. Additional details about the planet Mercury was also released.

The new armor is something that Warlocks, Hunters, and Titans will be able to get hands on. A new hand cannon is available for players to forge reports GameSpot. Once the Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris main story is complete for the DLC, players can view their progress towards weapon-specific quests via a tracker on the wall in the Lighthouse.

The missions there will be to find the components to forge the new weapons. Bungie has also stated that Heroic Strikes will return, but not much in the way of details was offered about that. GameSpot also points out that it noticed the Eververse logo as an icon along with the other milestones in the Director.

It’s not clear how the Eververse might be involved just yet. The Lighthouse has been revamped in this DLC and Brother Vance is there as a vendor. He will offer players a new area-specific reward called Lighthouse Engrams. More details are set to surface in livestreams on November 21 and 29.
