By

CyberPower today announced a new PC that they claim is the perfect blend of portability, practicality and power. The PC is part of their LAN Party EVO (Evolution) series of Small Form Factor (SFF) desktop gaming systems. The starting price for the new LAN Party EVO systems is $759. What is rather interesting about the system is that you can configure it four ways and you can pick from either an AMD Phenom II X4 or Intel Core i5/i7 quad-core processors depending on which you choose. Pricing ranges from $759 to $1079 for basic configurations and you can see the $1,079 CyberPower LAN Party EVO Mini below. This system comes with the Silverstone SG-07B Mini-ITX case and an Intel Core i7-870 CPI with an ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB video card. All LAN Party EVO gaming PCs are installed with a liquid cooling solution to keep the CPU cooled and each has the ability to use an ATI Radeon HD 5970 video card! The amount of power that you can pack into a mini-ITX system these days is amazing!

The LAN Party EVO series is based on small form factor mITX and mATX motherboards that deliver big-sized motherboard features and performance in a small sized form. These motherboards support the latest processors from Intel and AMD, which can be combined with an array of the largest and most powerful graphics card choices from NVIDIA and ATI featuring DirectX 11 visuals. Each LAN Party EVO gaming rig comes in a unique SFF chassis. The LAN Party EVO Mini is enclosed in a cube-like Silverstone SG-07B Mini ITX case. The LAN Party EVO Xtreme, Commander, and Ultra feature In-Wins chain-link armor inspired Dragonslayer mini tower case.
