Futuremark 3DMark 11 Synthetic Benchmark

3DMark 11 is the latest version of the worlds most popular benchmark for measuring the 3D graphics performance of gaming PCs. 3DMark 11 uses a native DirectX 11 engine designed to make extensive use of all the new features in DirectX 11, including tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading.

Since Futuremark is releasing 3DMark11 today we decided to run the benchmark at both performance and extreme presets to see how our hardware will run.

Benchmark results: The CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000 easily dominated both runs of 3DMark 11. Looking first at the performance preset, the CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000 dominated the Intel Core i7 950 by just over 700 3DMarks for the overall score. The Intel Core i5 2500K system was slightly closer, though was still beat by over 600 3DMarks! The Extreme Preset results are quite comparable to the performance results. The CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000 had a 249 3DMark point lead of the Intel Core i7 950 system and a 218 point lead over the Intel Core i5 2500K system.
