A ton of our readers always e-mail in asking to see CPU-Z and GPU-Z details on these pre-configured systems, so on this page we will be filling it up with screenshots that show off the PC’s vital signs.

At an idle state we found the AMD FX-4100 quad-core ‘Bulldozer’ processor to be running at 1400 MHz with a base clock of 200MHz and a multiplier of seven. This processor has 8MB of L3 cache, 4MB of L2 cache and 192 KBytes of total L1 cache.

The AMD FX-4100 CPU supports AMD Turbo Core technology. When all the cores are needed and the thermals are okay the AMD FX-4100 jumps up to 3700 MHz as shown above. When lightly loaded with single or dual-threaded applications it can also jump up to 3800 MHz!

Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2 Motherboard

The motherboard being used in the CyberPower Gamer Ultra 2098 is the Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2 Revision 3.1. This board uses NVIDIA GeForce 7025/nForce 630a chipsets and supports AMD AM3+ processors built on the 32nm manufacturing process. We asked CyberPower why they didn’t use a board with an AMD chipset like the ASUS M5A78L-M and CyberPower came back to us with this answer:

Our R&D team spent 2 months on comparing the Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2 board vs. the ASUS M5A78L-M board. The result was that the Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2 motherboard had better performance on most of the benchmarks.

We are glad to find that CyberPower tested a number of boards before picking one for this system!

Here is a GPU-Z 0.5.5 screen shot that shows off the details of the Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 6670 video card used in the CyberPower Gamer Ultra 2098. The Gigabyte Radeon HD 6670 1GB DDR3 graphics card runs at 800MHz on the core and 800MHz on the memory.

You can see that the system shipped to us with Catalyst 11.9 WHQL certified drivers. CyberPower did a great job with the BIOS version and system drivers as all were current when we received the system.
