Crucial Ballistix Sport, Tactical, and Elite Memory Now Available in 8GB Modules

It used to be that 4GB of RAM was all you ever needed not to mention all you could afford. In the era of 64-bit computing, it’s not unusual for users to be running 12GB, 16GB, 24GB or even 32GB of RAM in their systems. Higher density sticks allow for more RAM to be added – especially when limited to four slots. To help ease that dilemma, Crucial has announced that they now have 8GB modules available across their Ballistix Sport, Tactical, and Elite memory series by employing Micon Technology’s 4Gb DRAM innovations for DDR3-1600MHz and DDR3-1866MHz modules. No word yet on pricing but they should be available now or at least very soon!
