CPU-Z 1.75 Released With Intel Broadwell-E CPU Support

By

CPU-Z Version 1.75 has been released and it supports the upcoming Intel Broadwell-E processor series for the Intel X99 platform! If you’ve been patiently waiting for the Intel Core i7-6950X with 10 physical cores and 20 logical threads to come out it looks like the multi-threading beast is close. Rumor has it that current Intel X99 owners will be able to update their UEFI and drop in one of the new Broadwell-E CPUs into their current platform. We expect to see four Broadwell-E models to be released in Q2 2016 if all the rumors are correct.

Processor Cores/threads Clock frequency L3-cache Socket
Intel Core i7-6950X 10/20 3GHz 25MB LGA2011-v3
Intel Core i7-6900K 8/16 3,3GHz 20MB LGA2011-v3
Intel Core i7-6850K 6/12 3,6GHz 15MB LGA2011-v3
Intel Core i7-6800K 6/12 3,4GHz 15MB LGA2011-v3

The latest version of CPU-Z 1.75 also includes full support for Intel Skylake-based Pentium, Celeron and Core m3, m5 and m7 mobile processors (used on the upcoming Intel Compute Stick models).
