CPU-Z 1.75 Released With Intel Broadwell-E CPU Support
CPU-Z Version 1.75 has been released and it supports the upcoming Intel Broadwell-E processor series for the Intel X99 platform! If you’ve been patiently waiting for the Intel Core i7-6950X with 10 physical cores and 20 logical threads to come out it looks like the multi-threading beast is close. Rumor has it that current Intel X99 owners will be able to update their UEFI and drop in one of the new Broadwell-E CPUs into their current platform. We expect to see four Broadwell-E models to be released in Q2 2016 if all the rumors are correct.
Processor | Cores/threads | Clock frequency | L3-cache | Socket |
---|---|---|---|---|
Intel Core i7-6950X | 10/20 | 3GHz | 25MB | LGA2011-v3 |
