Corsair Gaming M65 RGB Gaming Mouse Review
Looking around the Corsair Gaming M65 RGB
The M65 RGB’s dimensions of 4.65(L) x 2.83(W) x 1.53(H) inches / 11.8 x 7.2 x 3.9 cm don’t seem substantially different from other gaming mice, but in practice the shallow thumb rest and boxy shape makes this mouse effectively wider than what we’ve become used to using.
Taking a look along the length of the M65 RGB, here’s what we mean by the boxy shape of the mouse.
From the side, we see the steeply angled curvature of the mouse that promotes a claw grip. Resting palm of the hand on the mouse forces the fingers to arch over and above the mouse, leaving the fingertips in contact with the buttons.
On the right side are three thumb buttons, including one larger sniper button.
There are three illumination zones on the M65 RGB: the scroll wheel, the profile indicator in the middle, and the Corsair Gaming logo. The scroll wheel and logo can be customized to have dynamic color effects, but the indicator glows a steady color depending on what color has been assigned to the active profile.
The M65 RGB plugs into computers with a 6 ft (1.8m) long braided USB cable.
Looking underneath, we see the 8200 DPI laser sensor a mouse base made from aluminum, five slick plastic feet, and three weight compartments.
Each weight compartment can be opened with a coin of the appropriate size like a US nickel or a flathead screwdriver.
