Coolermaster Shows Off Power Supplies, Keyboards, Mice, Cases & More At Computex

Coolermaster had a fantastic range of products on display at Computex this year, everything looked great from the range of cases and coolers to headsets, gaming mice, keyboards and power supplies. The power supplies looked promising, with the Silent Pro M2 1500W really standing out as the big kahuna in Coolermaster’s lineup when looking at wattage output. Using dual 12V rails, modular cabling, six 8-pin PCI-E connectors, six 6+2-pin PCI-E connectors, Five year warranty and more, the Silent Pro M2 1500W 80 Plus Silver PSU was certainly attention grabbing with it being on display and featured in more then a few PCs in the Coolermaster booth.

That wasn’t the only power supply Coolermaster had on display of course, they had a range of other products including the usual assortment of Silent Pro Gold, Silent Pro M2, Thunder Series and more. Units of all wattages and efficiencies were at the show but what grabbed the attention of most was the Silent Pro Platinum units which are 80 Plus Platinum certified and were on display. It appears Coolermaster has a PSU for various needs and market segments on hand for attendees to check out at this years Computex.



Coolermaster is no slouch when it comes to mice and keyboards either, with a large assortment on display from the Xornet and Spawn mice to the Trigger, Quickfire Rapid and Quickfire Rapid Pro keyboards. The Coolermaster Storm Sentinel Advance II, however was certainly an attention grabber with it’s 8200 DPI sensor and 8 programmable buttons. The comfortable right-hand ergonomic shape makes the stylish mouse even more appealing. That said, it’s not the only choice, many more mice and keyboards were available at the show.

No we didn’t forget the cases. Coolermaster had a bunch on display including the Elite 120 mini-ITX, Storm Scout 2, HAF XM AMD Virgo Edition, Silencio 650, Raider, K350 and Stryker among many many more. The Storm Scout 2 certainly grabbed its share of attention on the show floor, not only because of its looks but to see if it lives up to the previous Storm Scout. It features an interesting design making use of rounded edges and contours, with an interior setup offering cable management options alongside plenty of space for larger graphics cards. That plus three 5.25-inch bays and three 3.5/2.5 inch HDD bays rounds out the CM Storm Scout 2. It certainly looks like it will be a worthy successor to the original.
