Looking closer at the internal layout, the Scout includes plenty of cable management options, and also supports bottom mounted PSUs, giving the whole chassis a low center of gravity to bring further stability to your PC. Additionally, the motherboard tray has a large cut-out area for easy access to CPU-cooler retention plates, making switching between coolers a breeze.

The back of the motherboard tray is clean with plenty of places to tie up wires to hide them.

The Scout also has great options for expansion and upgrades with five 3.5 and four 5.25 drive bays, as well as providing support for 1.8 or 2.5 Solid State Disks.

The top panel on the front of the Scout offers eSATA, FireWire, HD Audio and USB2.0 ports for connectivity. IT also features an LED-switch, that allows you to turn off and on the red lights inside the case. The picture above also shows off the tool-less design, which is pretty much standard these days.

The Cooler Master Storm Scout also comes with something called the StormGuard accessory. StormGuard is basically a specially designed PCI-bracket located at the rear of the chassis body that locks your peripherals and side panel firmly in place. This is designed to slow down thieves when you aren’t at your PC during a LAN-party. It won’t prevent something from being stolen, but if it slows them down enough they might get caught in the act. The Cooler Master Storm Scout is an interesting case that is sure to be talked about in the enthusiast and gamer community for months to come!
