The Cooler Master Silencio 652S is a great case for $119.99 shipped to your door. Over the years I’ve come to like a more subdued look to my computer systems. I used to use the cold cathode tubes, fans with LED’s and all that fun stuff. While there’s nothing wrong with using that, it’s not for me any more. The Cooler Master Silencio 652S is right up my alley these days.
Despite having a lack of flash, the Cooler Master Silencio 652S is a pretty damned sexy PC case. It’s a very clean looking case that will add a touch of style to any desk. While looks are important to the overall appeal of a computer case, they aren’t everything. The function of the chassis is just as important, if not more so. The Cooler Master Silencio 652S was, in short a great case to work with today.
Higher end PC chassis’ like the Cooler Master Silencio 652S are always a joy to work with, there is rarely anything bad that I can say about them. The CM Silencio 652S was no different, nor did I expect there to be any issues. The entire build process went off without a hitch, I was easily able to run the cabling and keep the interior of the Cooler Master Silencio 652S very clean.
The Cooler Master Silencio 652S is a very sleek looking mid tower chassis that will accept micro-ATX motherboards as well as ATX motherboards. If you’re looking to build a mini-ITX motherboard, the Cooler Master Silencio 352S would be a great option. The Silencio 352S is a considerably smaller version of the 652S, measuring only 17.8″ x 7.8″ x 14.9″ compared to the 20″ x 8.7″ x 20″ dimensions of the Silencio 652S. The Silencio 352S also comes in at a bit less, available for only $69.99 9shipped. Overall I’m really impressed with the Cooler Master Silencio 652S chassis, there’s nothing I didn’t like about it.
Legit Bottom Line: The Cooler Master Silencio 652S is a very versatile PC chassis. As it comes out of the box it is set up to run silently, but if you’re looking for a little better airflow and cooling you can make a couple of changes that are built into the design. This means that the Cooler Master Silencio 652S is a great choice for systems that range from mild to wild!
