Computex 2010: Asus Announces 10 and 12 Inch Slate PCs

ASUS is one of the dominant forces in the computer industry and today we were given a preview of what’s to come from them this summer. Get a glimpse of their first foray into the world of boutique gaming PC’s, extreme high-end graphics cards, and their high performance and thin and light Windows based portable tablets.

ASUS Eee Pad

Outside of gaming, ASUS showed off two Eee Pads. The first is the EP121, a 12 performance driven lightweight portable slate. It features full Windows compatibility, Adobe Flash, USB, SD card interface, a Web Camera, Desktop docking, and Notebook docking. This is an impressive piece of hardware and appears to be a great effort on ASUS part.

The second Eee Pad is the EP101TC, an ultra thin and light slate for smart mobility and casual computing. It runs on Windows Embedded Compact 7, a complete toolkit with the latest Windows 7-based technologies and. It provides a familiar full-featured experience across various connected devices and cloud computing services. Users will also be able to move their favorite applications to the main desktop with ease.
