The developer will focus on bringing new Dirt, F1 and Grid series titles to market. The games will release under a new publishing label called, Codemasters Racing, that will debut with the release of Dirt Showdown on May 25th. Rich Eddy, Communcations Chief at Codemasters, said In racing, we are No.2 in Europe and thats not good enough. We want to take racing games across multiple platforms and genres. So that players can play anytime, anywhere and on any device.” With a renewed focus on racing, Codemasters looks to be #1 again with Rich Eddy going on to say Racing is our DNA, it is our heritage, it is our specialisation and it is our absolute focus going forward. Codemasters also looks to be stepping up their online presence with a new community called Racenet which will unite Dirt, F1 and Grid gamers. The new service will launch with the release of the Dirt Showdown demo May 1st.
