CoD Black Ops 4 gets Armor Update
A new update has landed for Black Ops 4, and the update makes it easier to restore your armor as you play. Players have taken to hiding for much of a match to preserve their armor, and Treyarch doesn’t like that. The new resource patch 1.09 added allows you to up your armor similar to how med packs up health.
The consumable used to fix your armor is armor plates that can patch up the damage sustained in a firefight. Players can find the armor plates on the ground as loot, but there is a low chance of that, or loot it from fallen players.
This allows the winner to fix up their armor after a fight rather than being punished for using it. In update 1.10 all armor has the same durability. That is meant to address level 3 armor that some thought was too powerful.
Armor plates can only stack to five now rather than ten when plates were originally announced. Plates also take longer to apply in the new update needing three seconds instead of two.
