Eers Custom Fitted Earphones

Sonomax Technologies is getting ready to release their next generation of custom fit earphones. The PCS-150 is their base model starting at $199. These earphones have enhanced bass and an inline microphone. The PCS-250 starts at a huge $299 price tag, but have dual driver speakers for the audiophiles and music enthusiasts.

The Eers earphones utilize Sonomax’s SonoFit technology to mold the earphones to custom fit your ear canal. The earphones pictured above have already been molded. The earloop design is supposed to secure the earphones in position enough to stay put during physical activity and extreme activities.

Here is the SonoFit system used to mold the Eers headphones to custom fit your ears. You attach the earphones to the pictured headband and put it on your head. In five minutes, the enclosed inflation pumps will fill the bladders on the ear pieces with silicone to achieve the quick custom fit. It is clear that a lot of design and thought has gone in to these products, but the $199-$299 price tag is the prohibitive factor for the Eers earphones.
