CES Unveiled 2012 – A Sneak Peek At The Hot Products of CES 2012
SolarFocus, HEX & Griffin
SolarFocus Technology Company won the CES 2012 Innovation Award for what the company called the first practical solar gadget — SolarKindle. This is said to be the worlds first solar powered e-reader cover. As you can from the photo above there is a lightweight solar panel built into the cover. There is also a built-in LED reading lamp can be powered continuously for up to 50 hours without using the Kindles main battery for the best illumination and coverage. The SolarKindle Lighted Cover will be available Jan. 15, 2012, priced at $79.99.
HEX recently launched the companies its first bag accessory line with two collections, Recon and Varsity, which pack innovative new features designed specifically for the safe and stylish carrying of iPad, MacBook, MacBook Pro and other laptops and tablets. They had the bags on display and we dug the denim design and how you can watch a movie with the tablet safely stored in the side pouch. We were told the bags run around $80 and come backed by a one year warranty.
We ran across the irresistible Woogie 2 by Griffin and had to snap a picture of it to show our readers. The Woogie 2 is a soft, plush, huggable, toy that doubles as an Apple iPhone or iPod touch case. Its obviously meant for children, to give them something to hold up their iPod touch for easy game playing or video watching, or to protect your iPhone if youre letting them use it. With big round body and five legs, the Woogie is easy to position whether its on the floor, a table, in a car, or on a lap. The Woogie 2 can be purchased in Griffin’s online store for $19.99 and is available in either pink or blue. It was designed in the United States and is made with non-toxic materials.
