CES 2014: ASUS Zenfone & Transformer Duet Shown Off!
Legit Reviews was able to spend some time with ASUS at CES 2014 and we fortunate enough to get a hands on demo of the latest ASUS Transformer Duet two in one.
ASUS is pretty well known for their ingenuity and CES 2014 looks like they are going to continue that trend. The above video shows off the New ASUS Transformer DUET. The Transformer DUET is being called a two in one device as it works as a tablet, or as an Ultrabook. Though in reality it is more of a four in one! Why a four in one you ask, it’s actually two tablets in one, and two ultrabooks in one! The ASUS Transformer Duet is a dual boot device that will run either Windows 8 or Android! Either operating system can work as either a tablet or Ultrabook. At the heart of the model we hand some hands on time with was an Intel Core i7 processor, though it looks like it will come in all flavors of Core series processors.
ASUS was also showing off their new line of Zenfones. The Zenfones range in size from a four inch screen to a six inch screen
The specs for the ASUS Zenfone 6 look solid to say the least. At the heart of the Zenfone 6 is an Intel Atom Z2580, the Atome Z2580 is a dual core processor with four threads which is running at 2.0GHz. Each of the Zenfones is running on Android 4.3 and will up update to the new KitKat 4.4!
The new ASUS Zenfones look great on paper, in persone, and we look forward to getting some more hands on time with them in the future!
