CES 2012: Sharp Unveils 80-Inch Business Class Touchscreen

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) has unveiled a new 80-inch large-screen touch panel display system at CES. The new PN-L802B AQUOS Board is the newest addition to Sharp’s lineup that already includes 60-inch and 70-inch display tools. The new touch screen display has a resolution of 1920×1080 with full LED backlighting. The PN-L802B will also feature seamless integration of WebEX, GoToMeeting,and Skype. The touch screen display will also be fully compatible with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 7, and touch pack for Windows 7. The PN-L802B AQUOS Board 80-inch display will be available in late February with an MSRP of $13,795.

In addition to the PN-L802B stand-alone display, which comes with a three-year onsite parts and labor limited warranty, customers also have the option of purchasing a bundled solution. The bundle PN-L802B-PKG includes the AQUOS Board 80-inch class, full-array, LED backlit, interactive touch-panel display, the PN-TPC2W7 Compact Whiteboard PC and rolling cart floor stand. The whiteboard PC connects easily to the rear of the display; utilizes an Intel Pentium dual-core 2.5 GHz processor and comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Windows 7, Sharp Pen Software and touch-screen drivers, and is sold with a HDMI connecting cable for easy system set-up.
