CES 2012: BIOSTAR Intel Z77 ‘Ivy Bridge’ Motherboards

We have even more Intel Z77 chipset goodness for you. BIOSTAR is on hand in Las Vegas, NV for CES 2012 and they were showing off several of their Intel Z77 motherboards. The companies flagship Intel Z77 motherboard is the BIOSTAR TZ77XE4 motherboard. It features three PCIe x16 Gen 3 slots, four SATA III 6Gbps ports (two Intel and two Marvell), internal SuperSpeed USB 3.0, 13 phase power design, and Quad video out (DVI, VGA, HDMI, and Displayport). A couple things that I didn’t notice on the BIOSTAR on any of the BIOSTAR Intel Z77 motherboards is mSATA which we have seen on several other boards and the company will not be offering any Intel Thunderbolt ports on any of the boards. By not including these features the company is able to keep the costs down.
