CES 2011: SanDisk SSD, nPower PEG and House of Marley
House Of Marley
The House Of Marley is a brand created by the family of the late Bob Marley. In keeping with his visions and principals they have products designed eco-conscious products that embody the values of equality, unity, authenticity, charity and sustainability all while giving back to people and the planet.
The primary focus of these products is in personal audio. The design goals are for superb clarity and thick, full, resonant bass. Here we see the People Get Ready ear buds and their FSC certified eco-friendly enclosures! These ear buds are expected be priced $49-$59.
Here you can see the “Easy Skanking” headphones in vibrant “Root” colors. The external ear cup is made from recycled aluminum! These over the ear cans are expected to cost around $60.
This is a new take on an iPod speaker dock. It’s made from wood and the speakers are set up for 2x25w power! Bass comes in the form of two 4″ drivers with the highs supplied by 1″ tweeters. This great looking dock is priced at $299.
The Exodus pictured above features a three button controller that is capable of controlling iPod’s and iPhones. The buttons in the photo are for adjustment of the speakers which are detachable. Made of FSC wood, recycled aluminum, and leather these headphones also feature an integrated microphone.
Here we see the Exodus in use by a CES 2011 press member.

As you heard in the video, House of Marley believes that their Trenchtown Rock headphones can give Beats by Dr. Dre a run for their money!
