Call of Duty: Black Ops got a patch over the weekend for both the single player and multiplayer versions. Both patches include CPU performance improvements, which is is never a bad thing. How much this patch actually helps the PC version performance is up for you to decide.
Updates to Call of Duty: Black Ops have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major Call of Duty: Black Ops changes include:
- CPU performance improvements
- Zombie matchmaking improvements
- Fix for locked ADS after pressing shift-TAB to bring up Steam overlay
- Fix for ADS while holding shift as a sniper
