Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Battle Royale Beta Starts September 10 on PS4

Fans of the Call of Duty franchise who have been waiting in anticipation for Black Ops 4 to land now have a firm date for the beta to launch. That launch will happen on September 10 and it will be a limited beta to start with. The first gamers to get into the beta will be those on the PS4.

There is no word on when Xbox and Windows gamers will get their hands on the beta. A tweet was published recently, which can be seen below, that gives us a new look at Blackout. The teaser notes that players can play solo, as a duo, or in a squad of four.

We dont know exactly how many players Blackout mode will support. Blackout mode was announced at the reveal event for Black Ops 4 in May. That is the battle royale style mode that promises characters, weapons, and vehicles from the Black Ops franchise.

Blackout will have players playing in locations that fans of the franchise will recognize, like Nuketown reports Polygon. CoD: Black Ops 4 is one of the most highly anticipated games of the year.
