BlizzCon 2011 Battle Grounds for World Class Professional eSports Competition

Blizzard Entertainment announced that in October the 2011 Global Battle.net Invitational and the 2011 GSL (Global StarCraft II League) will both be held at BlizzCon 2011. BlizzCon takes place in Anaheim at the convention center on October 21 to the 22. The Global Battle.net Invitational is one of the top attractions of BlizzCon which features top ranked pro players. This year players have been invited to compete in StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty and World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. The Global StarCraft II League is one of the worlds most watched eSports competitions with millions of viewers watching intense matches between highly skilled professional players. The Battle.net Invitational and the GSL October Final have a total cash prize of nearly $300,000 up for grabs at BlizzCon 2011.
