BlizzCon 2009 – The Vendor Booths
The Kingston Booth
Speaking of Kingston, we ran into our good friends from Kingston who had a late start to their day. Apparently some their luggage got lost. Specifically, their monitors that they were going to use to display some 3D gaming! Luckily, their buddies from Doghouse Systems (Texas), and Vigor Gaming Computers (CA) were on hand to help them out. I had a front row seat as they did their magic and before too long they had crowds 20+ deep around their booths. Of course the free t-shirts didn’t hurt either!
Here is the system that Doghouse was setting up for peole to view the 3D gaming enhanced with the Kingston. This was a Intel Core i7 system running 12GB of Kingston HyperX memory.
Vigor had a similar set up showcasing Kingston’s HyperX RAM Fan that we reviewed here earlier this month. They were running on a Intel Core i7 system with 12GB of memory.
What I forgot to ask for is one of those Kingston “Tikki” dolls for my office…I mean, to evaluate. I’m not sure what that funky heatsink they were running was but if this is any indication of what the typical builds look like from Vigor and Doghouse, you might want to stop there before you make your next computer purchase!
