Bethesda Softworks Announces The Elder Scrolls Online

Bethesda Softworks has announced today that ZeniMax Online Studios is working on The Elder Scrolls Online. The MMORPG will be the first game in the Elder Scrolls series that allows gamers to explore and take on the perils of Tamriel together. The game itself is being developed for PC and Mac and will be under the leadership of Matt Firor, an industry veteran, who has spent the last 20 years working in online game development. Details on the game will be revealed in an exclusive cover story in Game Informer’s June issue. The Elder Scrolls Online will be the first game developed by ZeniMax Online Studios since it was founded in 2007.
