Battlefield 5 Firestorm Battle Royale Mode Set for 2019

Fans of the Battlefield franchise were happy to learn that EA would be giving the game the popular battle royale mode to compete against Black Ops 4, Fortnite and PUBG. BF5’s battle royale mode is called Firestorm and its launch date was tipped recently.

The launch date was unveiled when EA Dice laid out its post-launch timeline for Battlefield 5 and revealed it will be 2019 before Firestorm lands. Specifically, the battle royale mode will land in March.

The exact day in the month the mode will launch was unannounced. If you are thinking the delay of the battle royale mode is to squeeze more money out of players for content updates, you would be wrong.

EA isnt charging any extra for any Battlefield 5 content with no season passes or in-game charges for accessing any post-game content, including new modes or maps. The first co-op mode will launch in the first quarter of 2019, it’s called Combined Arms reports Polygon.
