ATI’s Radeon X1900 Video Card Series

Tests were performed using the default ?demo1?. Options were set to High Quality for cards with 256MB’s of memory while Maximum Quality was used for cards with 512MB. Scores represented as average frames per second.
Under “lower” quality settings of 4xAA/8xAF we see the 7800GTX 512 holding a very slight advantage over ATI’s latest offerings in single and dual card configurations. However once we set 8xAA/16xAF, SLI left looking up at CrossFire. Keep in mind that CrossFire is using High Quality Anisotropic filtering which the Nvidia cards aren’t capable of doing, giving ATI the edge in both image quality and performance.
