ATI Radeon HD 4670 Graphics Card Review
Devil May Cry 4
Devil May Cry 4 is the fourth installment of the Devil May Cry series and is both developed and published by Capcom for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. The PC version has exclusive features, including more modes and visual customization. Turbo Mode is featured, giving the game a slightly faster speed, and a new difficulty called Legendary Dark Knight Mode is implemented. The PC version also has both DirectX 9 and DirectX 10 mode.
Devil May Cry 4 doesn’t use a fancy new game engine and if you have ever played Lost Planets then you’ve seen all the graphics that this game has to offer. We cranked up the graphics to the highest settings on each card and let the game run! (Note the MSAA was reduced down to 8x as that is the highest resolution possible on ATI graphics cards)
Results: With both the ATI and NVIDIA based graphics cards running 8x AA the benchmark Devil May Cry 4 ran great on the Radeon HD 4670! Using scene two from the games built-in benchmark it is clear that the Radeon HD 4670 walks all over the NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GSO/GT and that the GeForce 9500 GT is way off the mark.
