ATI Announces the Radeon X1800 GTO Video Card
ATI Technologies Inc. today announced the newest family member of the Radeon X1800 series, the Radeon X1800 GTO. Available from ATI?s add-in-board partners by the end of the month at a suggested retail price of $249, the Radeon X1800 GTO delivers outstanding gaming performance that ATI claims will dominate other graphics options in its price class.
Radeon X1800 GTO has 12 pixel shader processors, a 256-bit GDDR3 memory interface and operates at 500 MHz core and 1000 MHz memory speeds?ensuring it has the performance headroom to support the most visually intensive games and applications today and well into the future. It will also ensure an exceptional experience with Microsoft?s next-generation operating system, Windows Vista, when it launches later this year.
