ASUS Z97 Pro Motherboard Retail Packaging & Bundle

The retail packaging for the ASUS Z97-Pro [Wi-Fi ac] isn’t overly flashy nor does it feature any over the top graphics. The front of the Z97-Pro packaging main focus is on the PCH heatsink and the 5-way optimization. Though along the bottom of the packaging ASUS has the various badges for SLI, CrossFireX, DTS, Intel, and HDMI.

While ASUS doesn’t put an overwhelming amount of information on the front of their retail packaging, the leave very little off of the back. Along the left side of the packaging ASUS has a breakdown of the specification. Along the right side ASUS breaks downs some of the key features and benefits of the ASUS Z97-Pro motherboard.

Opening up the retail packaging for the ASUS Z97-Pro [Wi-Fi ac] the motherboard is securely packaged inside to prevent it from moving around and being damaged during the journey to its final destination. In addition to being protected from movement, it is also protected from ESD in an anti-static bag.

The cardboard tray under the ASUS Z97-Pro has to be removed to access the bundle, but it doubles as a barrier and keeps the accessory bundle segregated during shipping.

The ASUS Z97-Pro [Wi-Fi ac] comes with everything that you see above securely packed underneath the board as we saw above. Once we break it down like this is certainly becomes a much more fulfilling bundle, light in comparison to something like the ASUS ROG boards, but still has everything that we need to get the system up and running. Included in the Z97-Pro [Wi-Fi ac] bundle is the usual user guides, driver disc, I/O shield, ASUS Q-Connect adapters, SLI Bridge, antenna for the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and two pairs of SATA III 6Gbps cables.
