ASUS X99-Deluxe LGA2011-v3 Motherboard & Intel X99 Chipset Review
SiSoftware Sandra Memory Bandwidth
The Sisoftware Sandra 2012 SP3 benchmark utility just came out a few weeks ago and we have started to include it in our benchmarking. Sandra 2012 comes with support for Virtualisation (Virtual PC/Server, Hyper-V, VMware) and GPGPU (OpenCL, DirectX 11 DirectCompute), but today we will be using the program to look at memory and CPU performance!
Benchmark Results: The ASUS X99-Deluxe was able to hit an aggregate performance of 49.59GB/s, the ASUS P9X79-Pro was ~5% faster with an aggregate performance of 52.05GB/s. Despite both systems running the RAM at 2133MHz, the timings were different. The Crucial DDR4 memory on the ASUS X99-Deluxe runs at 2133MHz with 15,15,15,36,2T timings while the Corsair Dominator Platinum runs at 2133MHz with 9,11,10,27,2T timings.
