The ASUS X99-A Intel X99 Motherboard has the lowest power consumption numbers of any of our Intel X99 motherboards. When sitting idle, the ASUS X99-A is pulling only 71 Watts at the wall. The other two Intel X99 motherboards were each pulling 75 Watts at the wall. While running the AIDA 64 system stability test, the ASUS X99-A was pulling 183 Watts at the wall, while running 3DMark it was pulling only 253 Watts at the wall.
