Intel X99 SATA III 6Gbps Performance Testing

CrystalDiskMark is a small benchmark utility for drives and enables rapid measurement of sequential and random read/write speeds. Note that CDM only supports Native Command Queuing (NCQ) with a queue depth of 32 (as noted) for the last listed benchmark score. This can skew some results in favor of controllers that also do not support NCQ.

ASUS X99A HD Tune SATA Benchmark Results

Benchmark Results: The ASUS X99-A Intel X99 motherboard wasn’t the fastest board that we have tested the SATA III performance on, but it was certainly holding its own. The Average Rea was sitting pretty at 434.4MB/s which is only a hair behind the Z97 motherboards. While it may not be the fastest of all of the boards, it is the fastest of the Intel X99 motherboards.
